The Labor Relations Expert Reporting to the Country HR Head manage employee and labor relations of the Company in Spain, including negotiation of collective bargaining agreements; contract administration and interpretation; guidance/coordination of related management activities; implement compensation and benefits policies, plans and projects. The Employee & Labor Relations Manager serves as a key contributor to development and maintenance of comprehensive Human Resources policies and strategies.

The Mission
The Labor Relations Expert Reporting to the Country HR Head manage employee and labor relations of Siemens Energy in Spain, including negotiation of collective bargaining agreements; contract administration and interpretation; guidance/coordination of related management activities; implement compensation and benefits policies, plans and projects. The Employee & Labor Relations Manager serves as a key contributor to development and maintenance of comprehensive Human Resources policies and strategies.

This is your role. What part will you play?
• Successful administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) including the grievance and arbitration procedures.
• Builds strong, trusted relationships with the regional Leadership Teams, striking a delicate balance between consulting / advising and being a team member.
• Drives discussions related to workforce and organization design changes and provide recommendations
• Administers and manages administration of labor contracts; provides interpretation to managers, employees and HR staff; oversees processes for review and resolution of employee grievances.
• Advises managers and employees on sensitive labor and employee relations matters, performance issues and disciplinary actions; advises and assists managers in identifying employee relations issues and determining appropriate course of action.
• Ensures that policies, procedures and programs are consistent with company HR strategies and systems and labor/employment law.
• Maintains current knowledge of employee and labor relations trends, legal decisions, and statutory changes; conducts research necessary to support contract negotiations and employee relations. Uses appropriate negotiation strategies to develop bargaining goals
• Partner with the management team to increase focus on performance management to maximize employee contributions and to proactively address performance issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of entire compensation portfolio and processes

EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA:
Experience managing CBAs and leading following topics: contract administration, grievance processing, performance management and disciplinary activities, as well as facilitating on-going communication and working relationships with employee representative organizations and other company stakeholders

OBSERVACIONES ESTUDIOS:
Advanced degree in Law, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field Professional experience in a Lawyer Firm managing topics such as collective bargaining agreements and labor relations activities giving advice on labor law topics or more than 10 years of experience as Labor Relations Management in a Industry Company.

REQUISITOS IDIOMAS:
Inglés.

Business fluent in English and Spanish

Proficiency in MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
